Many claims often make mention that there are many stories that predate Jesus but have striking parallels.
No matter what you believe, there is a common message & teaching from all these beings; can you see it?

WHAT DID JESUS DO DIFFERENTLY?
Christians claim to know Jesus well and say that he was different from all prophets, gods & leaders that came before or after him.
....BUT HOW?

For Starters...
...he gave power - never taking it for self,
...gave healing - never hurt or pain,
...gave value - never destruction,
...he gave love - never hate,
...hope - not despair or fear,
...never used cultural or religious barriers,
...he was supernatural - but never used his gift selfishly,
and loved being in community with others.

Cultures around the world tell stories of prophets, legends & gods that claim to be saviors of humanity; but they are rarely benevolent. These same cultures also have similar messages, but they all claim to have THE answer...it can be difficult to know where the truth truly is.
Since I use Jesus as my CYPHER for seeing Creator Fathers character & nature in all things, he teaches that we are to be looking for specific qualities in each other & when we see those qualities, we are seeing our Creator.

These are the qualities that support the Golden Rule (love god & love others ). Just as our biology can be seen in our children, these qualities are the bio-genetics & evidence of our Creator In Us.
